This file is based on work done by Pat Hewitt,  Wanda Hagen and Winona Solomon and sent by Winona Solomon, without whom this site would not exist.  It demonstrates how inter-twined our early Virginia and North Carolina families were.  In addition to showing the Hardaway - Stith ancestry of Daniel Pegram and his wife Nancy Hardaway, from our Dinwiddie County line,  it contains links to other families who are closely related to to the family of Daniel Pegram of Warren Co., North Carolina including the Harton, Hicks and Harris families of early Virginia who later settled in early Granville County, North Carolina.  

Daniel Pegram and his wife Nancy Hardaway Pegram are the ancestors of the family of Winchester Pegram of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
