15. John HARTON (1). I think that this John Harton was also a John P. who functioned as a minister of the Gospel and performed a number of weddings in northern Alabama in the early 1800's.
He was married to Mary Harris POWELL (daughter of John Peyton POWELL and Tabitha HARRIS) on 20 Mar 1819 in Madison Co., AL. Mary Harris POWELL(1) was born in 1796 in Virginia. She died on 31 Aug 1830.
