January 1, 2001 Hello from the Robert Winfield Pegram (Rockingham County, North Carolina) descendants. The attached photo was made in October of 1998 at the sixth annual Cousin's Reunion and is especially meaningful as three of those pictured died during 2000. Standing Left to right are Jesse Lynn, Jr., husband of Florence Jane Pegram Lynn. Leroy Pegram, son of James William and Beatrice Pegram. Paul Dumas, husband of Pearl Jannette Dean Dumas. Patsy Cardwell Pegram, wife of Henry Winfield Pegram (deceased and the son of Charlie and Fannie Pegram). Ned Bull, husband of Barbara Ann Jones Bull. Catherine Pegram Moore, the daughter of Charlie and Fannie Pegram. Florence Jane Pegram Lynn, the daughter of Robert Irvin and Lillie Mae Pegram, Sr. Linda Pegram Apple, the daughter of Charlie and Fannie Pegram. Charlie Foures, husband of Martha Jane Jones Foures. Pearl Jannette Dean Dumas, the daughter of Pearl Pegram and Carwin Dean. Florence Adelaide Pegram Parker, the daughter of James William and Beatrice Pegram. Robert I Pegram, Jr. Dorothy Pegram Comer, the daughter of James William and Beatrice Pegram. Neal Pegram, the son of James William and Beatrice Pegram. Mary Ellen Pegram, wife of Robert I Pegram, Jr. Kneeling in front on the left is Martha Jane Jones Foures, the daughter of Mary Florence Pegram and Kenneth Dorsett Jones. Kneeling on the right is Barbara Ann Jones Bull, the daughter of Mary Florence Pegram and Kenneth Dorsett Jones. Seated in front is Mary A. Pegram, wife of Neal Pegram. Absent cousin is Connie Jo Jones Bowlin who was flying in the wild blue yonder ferrying the Experimental Aircraft Association's B-17 around the country. (An acceptable excuse for missing a Cousin's Reunion.) Florence Jane Pegram Lynn died November 22, 2000 and her husband, Jesse Lynn, Jr. died December 6, 2000. Jane and Jesse leave two sons, Tony and Jodi. Patsy Cardwell Pegram died February 26, 2000. Patsy and Henry leave one daughter, Wendy Pegram Ragan. |
