This photo, probably taken shortly after the 1948 renovation, shows Mrs. Jones standing on the stone step originally placed at the church by her father as told in the History of Bethel Methodist Church written in 1975. We are indebted to Barbara Jones Bull for this great addition to our Bethel United Methodist Church history which is so closely linked to the history of our Guilford Co., North Carolina cousins and their descendants.
