The following is his obituary published January 3, 200 in The Commercial Appeal Memphis, Tennessee.

JAMES BONNER REPULT, 93, of Southaven, retired engine foreman for Illinois Central Railroad, died of heart failure Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery South. He was former president of Illinois Central Service Club. Mr. Repult, the husband of Anna O'Sheridan Repult for 72 years, also leaves a daughter, Doris M. Trussell of Paducah, Ky.; a son, James B. Repult Jr. of Southaven, seven grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
        James married Anna O'Sheridan about 1927. Anna was born about 1909. She died in Feb 2000.

ROBERT C. REPULT, 88, of Collierville, formerly of Tupelo, Miss., real estate appraiser, died of heart failure Sunday at his home. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel has charge. He was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, a Mason and an Air Force veteran. Mr. Repult, the widower of Katherine T. Repult, leaves a daughter, Sharon Lyon of Memphis; a brother, Bonner Repult of Southaven, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
