Sarah married 1 Calvin (Reeves) Rives on 8 Nov 1866 in Cedartown, Polk Co., Georgia. Calvin was born 2 in May 1838 in Benton Co., Alabama. He died 3 on 10 Mar 1920 in Rusk, Cherokee Co., Texas.
Aaron Rives, Calvin's grandson, son of Noah, said the family tradition was that Calvin's first wife was Isabella Reeves. They were cousins. Marzell Rives Southerland said that after going through all accounted for children, there was one unkown female of William. Letter from William to James, his son, stated that Caroline was in Arkansas, and Sallie was in Polk Co., Georgia. Calvin and Isabella were in Polk Co., Georgia in 1870. The missing child would have been born about 1843. She feels that Isabella is the same as Sallie. Can't prove it at this time.
