Dennis Gene Huchteman, passed away in the early morning hours of October 20, 2005 at the age of 56. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 29, 2005.
A truly dedicated and ambitious individual, Dennis accomplished many great things in his life. After completing college in Oklahoma , he originally pursued a career in the military as an Army Ranger. Eventually, he was honorably discharged due to an injury sustained in a helicopter crash during the Vietnam War. Afterwards he changed to a profession for which he was quickly known for his innovations in the area of label design for the beverage industry. Since March of 2005, Dennis was employed at Sand Dollar Ford. Being a true salesman at heart, he quickly adjusted to his new job and cherished the friendships he made with his co-workers. Dennis had a love for life, a brilliant sense of humor, and an upbeat nature that will be missed by all.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Huchteman of San Marcos , Texas ; his sons, Brad and David Huchteman of Atlanta , Georgia ; and long-time friend and companion, Aurora Woods of Galveston , Texas .
