She is shown as Susan H. on the 1850 census of Warren Co., North Carolina. She apparently died between the time of the 1880 Census and 1892 when Presley executed his Will.
Louisa married Presley W. Harris 1 son of William F. Harris and Mildred Pegram on 7 Feb 1857 in Warren Co., North Carolina. Presley was born 2 about 1834 in Warren Co., North Carolina. He died in 1892 in Warren Co., North Carolina.
In 1850, his father had remarried and he was living with his grandfather, William Pegram.
His Will dated Sept. 1, 1892 and probated at October Court 1892 names only W. Henry Harris and Pinky Harris. The Will was witnessed by G. B. Riggan.

We have the same problem with the death record entry under J. M. Riggan which shows: "J. M. Riggan, Oct. 30, 1915"
The 1900 Census of Wilson Co. shows there are 4 daughters still at home. Next door on one side is living C. W. Riggan and on the same page is listed the family of C. E. Riggan.
The 1900 Census shows the couple have been married for 32 years and have 8 children living. We are unable to read the number for the total but it appears to be 10.

She was the daughter of Valentine (Felty) VAN HOOSER Sarah (Sally) ROWLAND.

Looking for information on my ggg grandmother's family. Her name was Fredonia Elizabeth RIGGAN and her father's name was Samuel H. RIGGAN and her mother's last name was TARVER. Sh e was born in 1845 and died in 1886. She married a Sam TRIPP/TRIPPE date unknown. Her children were Henrietta (Etter) TRIPPE/TRIPP born in 1862 and her son was Tilman Valrus TRIPPE/TRIPP born in 1866 in Arkansas. Fredonia does not appear on the 1860 census in Tennessee but reappears in 1870 as FE TRIPPE in Wilson County near Leeville.

He enlisted in the Civil War for the confederacy in Clark County, Arkansas.
Samuel and Fredonia had the following children:

She was a school teacher in Wilson County, Tennessee. She allegedly married a Russian (last name unknown) at an older age and didn't have any children. Etta Trippe (daughter of Valrus Trippe and Anna Jones) is named for her. At the time of the 1900 Census, she was living with her uncle, Daniel Riggan.3112 M ii Tilman Valrus Tripp was born in 1866. He died in 1947.
