Mrs. Pegram was born in Rockingham County, a daughter of Charlie and Anna Marshall Plummer and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin P. Pegram and a son, Howard Pegram. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Rev. Cleo Holt of Colfax, and Virginia and Elvin C. Parrish of Randleman; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger Ervin and Sylvia Pegram of Lauray, VA.; two sisters, Dorothy Lawson of Pine Hall and Lacy P. Bacher of Greensboro; a brother, James Plummer of Walnut Cove, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
