In 1910, Howard is still single and living at home. His occupation is given a Minister. The 1930 Census shows his occupation as Presbyterian minister. It appears he has been married for about 10 years and his wife's name is Shannie. The couple had no children at the time of the 1930 Census.4437 M iii Reuben Truitt was born on 28 Mar 1887. He died in Mar 1972.

Harrison Lee Truitt married his brother's widow and raised her sons from her first marriage. We had thought this must be the case based on census records but it was also confirmed by a phone conversation with John Truitt, a grandson of William Truitt and Elizabeth.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Born in Forsyth County, she was married to Carl Everett for 64 years, was a homemaker and a member of Stokesdale Christian Church. Survivors are husband, Carl T. Everett of the home; son, George Adams of the home; sisters, Ella May Holbrook, Ruby West and Clara Kellam.Hazel married Carl T. Everett about 1933 in Stokesdale, Guilford Co., North Carolina. 4463 F iv Ella Lee Pegram was born 1, 2 on 9 Dec 1915.
She is identified as Ella Holbrook in the obituary of her sister, Hazel E. Pegram EverettElla married Halbrook. 4464 M v David Lineberry Pegram was born on 18 Aug 1917. He died on 6 May 1991. 4465 F vi Ruby Mary Ann Pegram was born 1, 2 on 27 Apr 1919 in Oak Ridge, Guilford Co., North Carolina. She died on 22 Jun 1999 in Oak Ridge, Guilford Co., North Carolina.
She is identified as Ruby West in the obituary of her sister, Hazel E. Pegram Everett.Ruby married Howard Eugene West son of Eugene Gordon West and Mary O'Neta Hardin.
