Bobby J. Pegram Sr., 65, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Level Baptist Church cemetery.
A Guilford County native, Mr. Pegram was born Dec. 12, 1942. He was the son of the late Edward Jonah and Ainie Duncan Pegram. Mr. Pegram had lived in Lexington for the last 28 years and was previously employed by the City of Greensboro. He recently retired from farming. Mr. Pegram served in the National Guard, and in earlier years had attended Oak Level Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sons, Tommy Pegram and his wife, Lisa, and Bobby J. Pegram Jr. and his wife, Tracy, all of Stokesdale; a brother, Roger D. Pegram and his wife, Carolyn, of Reidsville; three grandchildren, Andrew Pegram, Kamryn Pegram and Tristan Pegram; and companion Margaret Steele.10743 M iii Roger Dean Pegram was born on 13 Jan 1945 in Stokesdale, Guilford Co., North Carolina.

Summerfield - Israel Washington Pegram, 73, of 5575 North U.S. 220 died Monday, April 4, 1994, at Pellcare Nursing Facility of Winston-Salem.
Born in Guilford County, he was retired from the National Asbestos Association, attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and was active in the National Asbestos Local 72.
Surviving are wife, Ruth Riggs Pegram of the home; daughter, Brenda Pegram Marshall of Greenville, S.C.; sons, James W. Pegram of Angier, Michael L. Pegram of Wilmington; sister, Edna Montgomery of Greensboro; three grandchildren.
Israel married 2 Annie Ruth Riggs 1 daughter of James H. Riggs and Fannie Frances Duncan on 4 Dec 1943 in Guilford Co., North Carolina. Annie was born on 27 Dec 1925 in Stokes Co., North Carolina. She died on 12 Jul 2001. She was buried in Guilford Memorial Park.

Mauldin, S. C. . - Mrs. Annie Ruth Riggs Pegram, 75, passed away Thursday evening, July 12, 2001, at Hillcrest Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2001, at Brooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. Mrs. Pegram was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Stokes County the daughter of the late James H. and Fannie Frances Duncan Riggs. She was of the Christian faith and started her journey for the Lord at Belews Creek Christian Church. Mrs. Pegram was a faithful wife and a very loving mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Israel Washington Pegram; two sisters, Mamie Dunlap and Mina Goode; and six brothers, Helon, Clyde, Banner, Tommy, Charlie and Willard Riggs. Surviving are her daughter, Brenda P. Johnson of Greenville, S.C.; two sons, James Washington Pegram of Arizona and Michael Lee Pegram of High Point; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Albert Burton Pegram, 69, of 8006 North Carolina 68, died April 8, 1993, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Baptist Tabernacle, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Guilford County, he was a trustee and former deacon at his church. He was employed at Salem Electric Co. as an electrician. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are wife, Katherine "Kat" Lovett Pegram; daughters, Carolyn Pegram Dunlap and Kathy Pegram Martin, both of Stokesdale, Donna Pegram Craven of High Point; sister, Edna Montgomery of Greensboro; brother, Israel Pegram of Summerfield; four grandchildren.
Albert married Katherine "Kat" Lovett daughter of William Lovett and Geneva McGee. Katherine was born on 18 May 1925. She died 1 on 23 Aug 1998 in Summerfield, Guilford Co., North Carolina.
Her parents names were taken from the obituary of her sister, Mrs. Vallie Mae Lovett Pless, age 85 published April 1, 2000 in the Winston-Salem Journal.
