Mrs. Moody is survived by her husband, Mr. Claude Moody of Greensboro; son, Mr. Richard Moody of Greensboro. She is also survived by two granddaughters.

ASHEBORO, George F.Pegram, 63, of Route 5, died Thursday in Randolph Hospital after several months of declining health. A native of Oak Ridge, he had lived here five years. He was employed by the State Highway Commission. He was a champion banjo picker for many years. Surviving are his --wife, Mrs. Dorothy Louise Pegram; a daughter, Mrs. Mary England of Granite Falls; three sons, George W. Pegram of the home, Charles W. Pegram of Statesville and Jerry Lee Pegram of Union Grove; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wydell of Winston- Salem, Mrs. Mabel Cison of Snow Camp, and Mrs. Ruth Dixon, Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Mrs. Juanita Springs, all of Greensboro; and two brothers, Zeb Pegram of Matthews and Roger Pegram of Greensboro. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Beck Creek Friends Meeting by the Rev. George McDowell. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Dixon was a native of Guilford County, son of the late Thomas H. Dixon and the late Jennie Moton Dixon. He was retired from Western Electric. He was a member of Wi cker Street Baptist Church, was a charter member of Bessemer American Legion Post 368 in Greensboro, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mable Pegram Dixon of the home; daughter, Mrs. Tony (Linda) Patterson of Graham; grandchildren, Mrs. Jerry (Ta mmy) Sparrow and Ms. Christy Isley; great-granddaughter, Miss Blake Isley; and sister, Mrs. Maggie Mitchell of Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Will Dixon and John Dixon, and sisters, Carrie Cox, Minnie Hilliard, Ella Ray, Mary Cox, Myrtle Porter, and Lee Chrisman.
