Her obituary appearing in the June 26, 1995 edition of the Greensboro News & Record reads in part:

Mrs. Minnie Pegram Kirkman, 64, of 3607 Wilder Road, Concord, died Saturday, June 24,1995, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. A native of Guilford County, Mrs. Kirkman was the daughter of the late John and Addy Pegram Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moravia Moravian Church, Oak Ridge with the Rev. Tim Byerly and the Rev. Jack Nance. Burial will be in Moravia Moravian Church Graveyard. Survivors include husband, Mr. Douglas R. Kirkman Sr. of the home; daughters, Mrs. Hope Kirkman Egan of Villa Hills, Kentucky, Mrs. Carolyn Kirkman Sellers of Concord, and Mrs. Robin Kirkman Kluttz of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina; sons, Mr. Douglas Kirkman, Jr. of Durham and Mr. Kim Lee Kirkman of Charlotte; sisters, Clara Kellam and Ella Halbrook of Summerfield, Ruby West of High Point, and Hazel Everett of Stokesdale; and ten grandchildren.

Minnie married Douglas R. Kirkman.

In 1930 she was found living with Ralph C. Gordon where she was identified as their neice. She was working as a bookkeeper.

Bessie married Joe Clifton Garrick on 10 May 1936 in Guilford Co., North Carolina. Joe was born ¹ on 24 Mar 1907. He died ² in Feb 1973 in Spindale, Rutherford Co., North Carolina.

Hubert Leo Pegram, 82, of 191 Woodyard Road, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at Wallace Thomson Hospital.

Survivors: wife, Kathleen B. Pegram; sons, Hubert L. Jr., Kenneth G., William H., and Gary Pegram; one sister; two half brothers; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service: 4 p.m. Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kernersville, N.C.

Hubert married Kathleen Barrow. Kathleen was born in 1922. She died on 29 Jan 2007 in Inman, South Carolina.

"Mr. Billy Ray Pegram, 70, of 1828 Hwy 68 N., died Sunday Nov. 9, 2003, at his home... Mr. Pegram was born in Guilford County, a son of the late Ernest and Ora Eva Joyce Pegram and was a member of the Deep River Friends Meeting, a retiree of the Atlantic Richfield Petroleum Co., and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Joel Ernest Pegram and Charles Pegram.

Surviving are his wife, Caroline Lankford Pegram of the home; a son, Randy Ray Pegram and his wife Jerri Fields Pegram of Oak Ridge; two grandchildren, Justin Lane Pegram and Amber Renee Pegram: two sisters, Betty Robinson of Colfax and Shirley King of Summerfield: a brother, Richard E. Pegram of Summerfield..."

Mrs. Doris Pegram Baker, 68, died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at her residence. Mrs. Baker is survived by her mother, Edna Pegram of Kernersville; daughter, Karen Baker of Pine Knoll Shores; son and wife, Barry Baker and Frances Baker of Richmond, VA.; sisters, Margaret T. Shields of Greensboro, Nancy P. Cox and husband, Dan Cox of Greensboro; brothers, Ramound D. Pegram and wife, Leta Pegram of Greensboro, Mark A. Pegram and wife, Jill Pegram of Greensboro, Stanley Pegram of Kernersville, Melvin G. Pegram and wife, Linda Pegram of Mc Leansville, Troy L. Pegram and wife, Ione Pegram of Raleigh, and Charles N. Pegram and wife, Carol Pegram of Hillsborough. Also surviving are three grandchildren and two great -grandchildren.

Doris married Clarence Baker son of George Baker and Emily Collins.
