1503. Czorilda Adeline Pegram 1 (Henry David (Daniel) , Daniel , William S. , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born 2 on 24 Dec 1818 in Richmond, Henrico Co., Virginia. She died on 14 Jan 1897.
The 1850 Census of City of Richmond, Henrico Co., Va. shows Czorilda as HH age 24 which obviously does not agree with her birth date from other sources. Living with her are her mother, Cecelia T. Pegram, age. 54 and Cecelia's mother, Ann Bell, age 75. There is also a male child, Henry Stanfield, age. 10. She must have remarried because she is identified as Lorilda A. Brandt on the 1880 Census. Her occupation on the 1880 census is listed as "Music Teacher"
Czorilda married (1) Ephraim Stanfield son of Robert Stanfield and Unknown on 3 Feb 1840 in Henrico Co., Virginia. Ephraim was born in Henrico Co., Virginia. He died before 1850.
His wife is shown as HH on 1850 census.
Ephraim and Czorilda had the following children:
4793 M i Henry Abner Stansfield 1 was born 2 in 1840 in Henrico Co., Virginia. He died on 17 May 1864.
The Library of Virginia has a letter dated 9 December 1862, from O. A. Pegram of Albemarle County, Virginia, to James A. Seddon (1815-1880), Secretary of War of the Confederate States of America, concerning the reduction of rank of Pegram's nephew Henry A. R. Stanfield of Company K, 17th Virginia Regiment, and asking Seddon to investigate.

His service record shows he enlisted as a Private on 24 July 1861 in Company K, 17th Inf. He was promoted to Sergeant on 6 March 1862 but was reduced to Private on 31 Aug. 1862. He was wounded on 16 May 1864 at Drewry's Bluff, Virginia and died of his wounds on 17 May 1864.
Czorilda married 1 (2) John T. Brandt on 1 May 1852 in Warren Co., North Carolina.

In 1900, he is found as a widow, living with his son, Orlando.

1508. Orlando Almorand Pegram 1 (Henry David (Daniel) , Daniel , William S. , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born on 1 Sep 1828 in Richmond, Henrico Co., Virginia. He died 2 on 2 Jun 1898 in New York City, New York.
To date we have only been able to identify 8 of the children living at the time of his death in 1898.
His obituary which appeared in the New York Times on reads as follows:
ORLANDO A. PEGRAM, a silk merchant, whose home was in Richmond, Va., died at his residence in this city early Thursday morning of uraemic poisoning. He retired from business three years ago, and previous to that was the general agent for the firm of Robert K. Davies, in London. Mr. Pegram was born seventy years ago in Richmond. and fought in the Confederate Army throughout the civil war. In 1878 he was a member of the Commission on Music at the Paris Exposition. He leaves a widow and ten children.
Orlando married Mary Sandford daughter of Edward Sandford and Janet Sargeant. Mary was born 1 in 1839 in Yonkers, Westchester Co., New York. She died after 1920.
She was still alive at the time the 1920 Census was taken. She was living in Manhatten with her daughter, Marjory, who was still single.
The passport application of her son, Robert Bruce Pegram, indicates she was still alive in 1921.

We were unaware of this child of Orlando Pegram until we found a passport for him issued 23 March 1923. At that time his residence was given as Paris.4811 M vii Walter Moray Pegram was born 1, 2, 3 on 26 Sep 1873 in England. He died 4 on 8 Mar 1958 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.
When he signed his WWI registration card on September 12, 1918, he was living in Kings, New York. At that time he gave his occupation as Civil Engineer with the Arnold Co. of Chicago, Illinois. His wife's name appears to be ?Lou.
The 1920 Census finds him in Columbus, Ohio, where he is working as a Civil Engineer with the railroad. The 1920 Census shows that he is married but his wife is not present.
Orlando was known to travel a lot and it appears that Walter was born during a family trip to England.Walter married Nora about 1902. Nora was born 1 in New York. 4812 M viii Robert Bruce Pegram was born on 23 Aug 1879 in Paris, France.
His place of birth is taken from a passport application. When the passport was issued on May 19, 1921, his residence was given as Detroit, Michigan.4813 F ix Marjorie (Marjory) M. E. Pegram was born on 5 Apr 1883 in New York City, New York. She died on 20 Oct 1972 in Monterey Co., California.
In 1920 she was still living in New York with her mother. In 1930, she is found living in Carmel, Monterey Co., California. This birthdate, taken from her death certificate, may not be accurate.

John married 1 Margaret J. Jones on 1 May 1848 in Mason Co., Illinois. Margaret was born 2, 3, 4 on 16 Aug 1832 in Ohio. She died 5 on 23 Apr 1892 in Nebraska. She was buried 6 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bob Town, Johnson Co., Nebraska.

The 1900 Census of Johnson Co., Nebraska reflects the couple have been married for 5 years. They have had no children.Albert married Lulu D. in 1895. Lulu was born 1 in Apr 1875 in Nebraska.

Martha married 3 James M. Hardin 1, 2 son of Henry Hardin and Ann Chambers on 13 Mar 1842 in Greene Co., Illinois. James was born 4 on 12 Dec 1817 in Talbot Co., Maryland.

JAMES M. HARDIN, farmer; P. O. Kilbourne. Prominent among the old settlers in this township, and whose interest have long been identified with those of the county, is James M. Hardin, who was born in Talbot Co., Md., Dec. 12, 1817; the son of Henry and Ann (Chambers) Hardin. The family are of Scotch and Irish descent. James' parents died when he was quite young, and he was thrown upon his own resources. At the age of 21, he started for the great West, staging it to Wheeling, and thence by river to Alton, and lived near Carrolton, Greene Co., where he worked on a farm as a common laborer. March 13, 1842, he was married to Martha A., daughter of John Micklam; she was born in London. After their marriage, he began renting land. In 1845, he came to Mason Co., and located on the same section he now lives on. He worked for and with his father-in-law three years, and then bought forty acres. He subsequently bought out Mr. Charles Cragg, and then moved one mile south, where he has since lived. Mr. Hardin has twelve children all living. Seven are now in Nebraska. Mr. Hardin and his wife are both members of the M. E. Church, the former since 1838. He has for many years been a member of the Masonic Fraternity, and in former times of the I. O. O. F. Society. No man in the county has a better record than James Hardin for honesty and uprightness.

Hardin was born in 1852. 4826 F vi Virginia Hardin was born 1 about 1853 in Mason Co., Illinois. 4827 M vii Charles Hardin was born 1 about 1855 in Mason Co., Illinois. 4828 F viii Amelia Hardin was born 1 about 1857 in Mason Co., Illinois. 4829 F ix Emma Hardin was born 1 about 1859 in Mason Co., Illinois. 4830 M x George Hardin was born 1 about 1863 in Mason Co., Illinois.
1516. Stanfield Micklam 1, 2 (Maria Pegram , William Baker , William S. , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born 3, 4 in Oct 1835 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee. He died in 1913 in Aurora, Illinois. He was buried in Spring Lake Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois.
He received a pension for Civil War Service in Illinois in July 1890. He served in 2 Illinois Cavalry.
The 1900 Census reflects the couple have been married for 30 years. They have had one child who now married and living with her parents.
Stanfield married 1 Mary J. in 1870. Mary was born 2, 3 in Dec 1841 in Canada. She died in 1912 in Aurora, Ill.. She was buried in Spring Lake Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois.

Another source says he was born in Greenwood, Louisiana.
Alexander married 2 Mary Ann Duke 1 daughter of Rev. William Green Duke and Nancy Ellen Sims on 20 Oct 1854 in Red River Co., Texas. Mary was born 3, 4 on 20 Oct 1834 in Saline Township., Hempstead, Arkansas. She died 5 on 27 Aug 1901 in Clarksville, Red River Co., Texas.
In 1900 she is a widow. Living with her are 2 unmarried daughter, Eddie and Minnie and 2 grand-daughters, Maggie and Nannie Beadle. She shows that she has had 8 children with 7 living.
They had the following children:

She died on 27 Mar 1891. 4834 F iii Nancy Roberta "Nannie" Greenhill was born on 18 Jul 1860. She died on 28 Jul 1938. 4835 M iv Samuel Greenhill was born about 1862. 4836 M v Joseph (Joe) Greenhill was born about 1866. 4837 F vi Lula Duke Greenhill was born about 1868. 4838 F vii Minnie Greenhill was born 1, 2 in Feb 1873 in Clarksville, Red River Co., Texas.

Martha married 2, 3 Young Barbee 1 son of Young Barbee and Martha on 21 Oct 1859 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee. Young was born 4, 5, 6 in 1835 in Tennessee.
In 1860 the couple were living next door to his parents.

1524. Pegram Beckram Greenhill (Jane Coleman Pegram , William Baker , William S. , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born 1 on 8 Jul 1836 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee. He died on 22 May 1905 in Carmona, Polk Co., Texas. He was buried in Carmona Cemetery, Polk Co., Texas.
His tombstone bears an inscription that says: "Ord. Sgt. Co D, 2 Ky Cav. "
Pegram married Lucinda Washington Rogers 1 on 14 Feb 1867. Lucinda was born on 30 Apr 1839 in Hopkins Co. Kentucky. She died on 11 Jan 1906 in Carmona, Polk Co., Texas. She was buried in Carmona Cemetery, Polk Co., Texas.
Deanna Oklepek says "The family Bible pages I have show her name as Lucinda Beck and married on Feb. 14, 1867."

He was buried in Carmona Cemetery, Polk Co., Texas. 4845 M iv James Cordice Greenhill was born on 8 Jun 1876. He died on 11 Dec 1950. 4846 F v Eula Greenhill was born on 21 Jan 1878 in Kentucky. She died on 14 Dec 1902. 4847 M vi Samuel Edgar Greenhill was born on 15 Nov 1880. He died on 26 Aug 1881.
1525. Henry Winfield Greenhill 1 (Jane Coleman Pegram , William Baker , William S. , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born 2, 3 on 23 Jul 1839 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee. He died 4 on 12 Oct 1921.
During the Civil War he served with the 2nd Kentucky Cavalry and his widow later received a pension. She was living in Montgomery Co., Tennessee at that time.
Both were still living in Montgomery Co., Tennessee at the time of the 1900 census. The census reflects the couple have been married for 31 years. They have had 8 children with 6 living. There are 3 children still living at home.
Henry married 1 Florendia Ann Shoemaker daughter of Sylvester Scotland Shoemaker and Penelope Adeline Biggs in 1869. Florendia was born 2, 3 on 7 Mar 1849 in Tennessee.
