4806. Virginia Bell Pegram (Orlando Almorand , Henry David (Daniel) , Daniel , William S. , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born 1 on 2 Apr 1871 in London, England.
We have recently acquired her own Confirmation Book in which she gives the date and place of her birth as April 2, 1871, 11 Stanley Cresent, London, England.
Other items of interest in the booklet show she was admitted to the National Conservatory of American, January, 1889 where she was studying music. She further shows she graduated from the Normal College of City of New York, June 26, 1890 and began to teach at Miss Gayler's School in February of 1891.
The little booklet, shown elsewhere, also contained a small piece of embroidery, presumably done by Virginia shortly after her marriage.
The couple were living in Manhatten in 1910 but later moved to Westchester Co., N.Y. where they are found in 1920 and 1930.
Virginia married 1 Edwin Kellogg Trowbridge son of Frederick Kellogg Trowbridge and Elvira Kellogg Trowbridge on 30 Apr 1902 in New York City, New York. Edwin was born 2 on 12 May 1876 in New York City, New York.
Edwin K. Trowbridge was graduated from Williams College in 1899 with the degree of B.A. He received the degree of M.A. from Columbia University the following year. He resided in New York City, his summer home being in Brunswick, Maine.
His birth date is taken from a 1935 passenger list when he and Virginia were returning from a trip to England.

In 1881, he was found living in London, England working as a bank clerk. The notice of his death indicates he was Trustee of a Bank at the time of his death while on a visit to Rome.

The notice or the marriage of John Neilson Barry and Mildred E. Pegram appeared in the New York Times on October 12, 1899 and reads as follows:
The Rev. John Neilson Barry and Miss Mildred Eldridge, daughter of the late Orlando Pegram of this city, were married on Tuesday at St. Ignatius Church, the ceremony being conducted by the Rev. Arthur Ritchie. The Rev. John Nielsen Barry is a son of Major and Mrs. Robert P. Barry, both formerly of this city, and now residing at Warrenton, Fauquier County, Va. Mrs. Robert P. Barry having been a Miss Nielsen and niece of Hamilton Fish. Mr. Barry, upon the completion of his course at the General Theological Seminary in this city, went to the missionary diocese of Washington, where he had a parrish at Palouse. He has now been transferred to a larger Parrish at Spokane, where he and Mrs. Barry will go after their wedding trip.
