In 1880 he is found living with John I. Mathews, age 28, and wife Alice. Relationship is not shown. We will need to review the 1860 and 1870 Census records to determine the parents of John I. Mathews.
Isham married 1, 2 (1) Martha Nolen in Aug 1873. Martha was born about 1845 in Tennessee.
The 1880 Census reflects that Isham and Martha are divorced. Martha and Jessie were living with her sister, Sarah Ozburn. In 1910, Martha was living with her daughter, Jessie Howse.

W. K. Matthews says she died young but other family records show she married Peay Waller and had 3 children.
Emily married Peay Waller 1 on 6 Jun 1844 in Williamson Co., Tennessee. Peay was born 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 on 25 Oct 1820 in Williamson Co., Tennessee. He died 8 on 8 Jan 1901 in Davidson Co., Tennessee. He was buried 9 in Binkley-Steele Cemetery, Davidson Co., Tennessee.
The 1900 Census of Davidson Co., Tennessee reflects the couple have been married for 56 years. They have had 3 children and 2 are living. Apparently Mary is deceased since James and Josh are living in the home. Josh shows that he is single and James reflects that he is a widow. However, this may be in error since we do find a marriage license for Josh but none for James. Naturally it is possible that they obtained a marriage record and then did not marry. In any event, he is at home and shown as single on the 1880 Census.

1557. William Edwin Starke 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (Martha Scott , Elizabeth Pegram , Edward , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born 7 in 1813 in Brunswick Co., Virginia. He died on 17 Sep 1862 in Antietam, Washington Co., Maryland. He was buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.
Born in Brunswick County, Virginia in 1814, he was a cotton broker in Mobile and New Orleans before the war. He was commissioned colonel of the 60th Virginia Infantry in 1861. He was promoted to brigadier general on August 6, 1862 for his conduct during the battles of the Seven Days. He commanded the "Stonewall Division" after the wounding of General Taliaferro at Second Manassas. On September 17, 1862, at Antietam, Starke was wounded three times and died as a result. He is buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond

They later moved to Missouri. The couple had no children.Sallie married William Mead Eggleston 1 son of William Eggleston and Mary Louisa Booth on 6 Dec 1881 in Warren Co., Mississippi. William was born in 1859 in Amelia Co., Virginia.

Prior to the Civil War he was a Stagecoach operator and politician. He served in the Mississippi State Legislature from 1850 -1854 and was elected to the State Senate in 1856.
In February of 1862 he was Col. of 28th Mississippi Cavalry, operations in Mississppi, Vicksburg campaign, commander of 1st brigade in Jackson's cavalry, served under S D Lee in opposing Sherman's advance on Meridian, commanded 28th Mississippi in Atlanta campaign, November 1864 Brig. Gen. in command of a brigade in Forrest's forces, Franklin and Nashville campaign, served in Chalmers' division in Alabama.After the war he served on the board of levee commissioners. He served one term as Sheriff of Boliver Co., Mississippi before returning to his family farm in Virginia. He was a twin brother of Gen. W. E. Starke.
