We have used family records for information on the children. The 1880 Census is so confused that is does not even have the right sex of the various children who are referenced by initials only.

After her husband's death, she moved to Washington, D. C. where she is found as HH in 1900. The 1900 Census shows she has had 7 children with 6 living but we do not know how many of these children may have been born to her marriage to Griffin Garner Pegram. Since there is a Griffin Garner Pegram, age 15, on the 1900 Census, it would appear they named him after his father since the first Griffin Garner, Jr. by his first marriage died as a child. Anne H. Pegram is also living in the home. The census creates confusion regarding Elizabeth, born 1881, who is living in the home with her husband, Ulysses Webb. We show an Elizabeth by Griffin Garner's first marriage born in 1869 so we do not know if this Elizabeth , born in 1881, is B. W.'s by a prior marriage or if we have the wrong birthdate for Elizabeth who was the daughter of Griffin Garner Pegram and Elizabeth Rundle.

In 1920 he is found living next to Columbus Pegram in Bell Co. The Whitmire Manuscript quotes Glyn B. McFarland, a great-grandson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma , in a letter written March 25, 1996 which states he was a son of Columbus Pegram born December 10, 1863.
