Burial, Sunset Hill Cemetery, Littleton. Surviving: daughters, Lorraine P. Bobbitt and husband, Fred Bobbitt of Raleigh; sisters, Ellen Perkinson of Wise, Ruth P. Overby of Raleigh; grandchildren, Sylvia Murphy and husband, David of Knightdale, Tommy Bobbitt and wife, Pam of Louisburg; great-grandchildren, Daniel Martin, Sarah Bobbitt and David Murphy Jr. She was a retired nurse at Warren General Hospital, she was formerly of Vaughan and was a member of Vaughan Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Myrice Sapler Perkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Pegram.

LITTLETON - Sadie pegram Bell, 89, widow of Johnnie C. Bell, died September 7, 2003, at Warren Hills Nursing Facilities. Born in Warren County on October 3, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Vender D. pegram and Flora W. Harris pegram. Mrs. Bell was predeceased by three brothers; Forrest Pegram, Jesse Pegram and Clement Pegram and one grandson, Chuck Garrison.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Bell Femia, Sherry Bell Garrison both of Accokeek, MD, and Flora Bell Odom of Littleton; two sons, John C. Bell of Cary, and Adolphus A. Bell of Myrtle Beach, S.C. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two-step-grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and four step g-reat-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2003, at Blaylock Funeral Home in Littleton. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday September 13, 2003, in Vaughan Baptist Church and burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Littleton. Immediately following burial services there will be food and fellowship for family and friends at Vaughan Baptist Church. Memorial may be made to Vaughan Baptist Church.
Sadie married Johnnie Coleman Bell son of Stith Wright Bell and Nellie Elizabeth King on 10 Feb 1934 in Emporia, Greenville Co., Virginia. Johnnie was born on 6 May 1909 in Warren Co., North Carolina. He died on 9 Nov 1984 in Orange Co., North Carolina.
