Since Russell was 10 years old in 1910, it would appear he should be a child from George's first marriage. However, In 1910 Lula shows she has been married only once, i.e. to George W. Stallings, and she has 3 children living. Further research is needed to determine the mother of Russell and it is possible that he was born to George's first marriage in 1900 after the time of the 1900 census.3906 F iii Rosa Stallings was born in 1905 in Warren Co., North Carolina. 3907 M iv George Plummer Stallings was born 1 in 1909 in Warren Co., North Carolina.

In 1880 he is found living in the home of J. Wm. Henry Paschall. In 1910, he is found as a widow, living with his sister, Eliza Shearin.
Robert married Annie Unknown. Annie died before 1910.

At the time of the 1900 Census, Almeda is show as a widow. Four children remain at home, i.e. Lula J., Martha Ellen, William A. and Nora. Her son, George Lee Rooker is next door. However, we know that William Thomas is still living since he is shown on the 1910 Census living with his son, Henry Foote Rooker.
The death date is from family records but this does not agree with the 1900 Census which shows that Almeda is a widow.
His tombstone bears the inscripton: "An honest man is the noblest work of God." "CSA"
William married 1 Almeda Elizabeth (Almeda Web) Newman daughter of Austin Newman and Lucretia Mabry on 7 Nov 1865 in Warren Co., North Carolina. Almeda was born 2 on 8 Oct 1840 in Warren Co., North Carolina. She died on 9 Sep 1918 in Warren Co., North Carolina.

We do not have proof that Josephine Moore who married John J. Evans is the same as Josephine Moore who is shown as a daughter of James and Cynthia Bell Moore but the ages agree. If so, they were first cousins.
