ST. CHARLES — Marshall Cline Harmon Jr.'s life began on Aug. 18, 1943, in Bunkie, La. He was born to Evelyn Du Val Harmon and Marshall Cline Harmon Sr., who were both stationed in Louisiana while serving in the U.S. Army. He died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Rush-St. Lukes- Presbyterian Hospital, Chicago.
Mr. Harmon grew up in Waterloo, Iowa, where he was active in Boy Scouts and participated in football and wrestling at West Waterloo High School and graduated in 1962. He graduated in 1964 from DeVry in Chicago, where he was a member of the Instrument Society of America.

Mr. Harmon's greatest joy in life was his family. He was particularly delighted in watching his grandchildren grow and wanted to teach them one of his favorite hobbies, fishing. His strong faith sustained him through years of serious health issues. His positive attitude was an inspiration to all who were blessed to have known him.
