He died on 27 Aug 1886. 4016 M iv Dr. Benjamin Michael Nicholson was born 1, 2 on 22 Aug 1888 in Virginia. Benjamin married Pattie Williams on 27 Dec 1911. Pattie was born about 1886 in North Carolina.

His father's Will, (dated June 9, 1854, probated August Court 1854 and recorded in Will Book 43, Page 186, Warren Co., North Carolina) devises all to wife Susan until John Amos is 21 at which time property is to be sold and "an equal division to be made between them".

The 1900 Census shows she has had 6 children with 5 living. The birthdate on the 1900 census is probably not correct since she does not appear on the 1850 census of Warren Co., North Carolina and the 1880 Census shows she was age 28, making her birthdate either 1851 or 1852.

Nannie married (1) Marcus Canterberry. Marcus was born 1 in May 1860 in Alabama.
In 1900, he is found living in Falls Co., single, working as a prison guard.
Nannie married (2) E. V. Pledge on 2 Dec 1888 in Falls Co., Texas. E. V. Pledge was born 1 in 1851 in England. He died about 1898 in Texas.
Apparently Nannie was a second wife since we find him married to someone else in 1880.
