He lived in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, North Carolina, when his father died in 1914 and in 1919 when his mother died. He was in Greeneville, South Carolina in August 1918. He was executor of James's estate, along with John Robert. He had ten children, six of whom never married.
We are indebted to Linda Hudson Bailey for all her work on this line of our Pegram family. Dr. Simmons included the names of family members but we had not been able to document the family until we learned that Hal's name was actually Henry. All sources to phone calls and letters are from Linda's work.
