12660. Ray Wyatt Reinhardt (Robert Stephen (Steve) Reinhardt , Laura Louise Pegram , Edward Larkin , Winchester , Daniel , Edward , Daniel , George ) was born in Feb 1926 in Lincoln Co., North Carolina. He died on 6 Apr 2006 in Lynchburg, Campbell, Virginia.
His obituary reads in part:
Ray W. Reinhardt, 80, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, after a long struggle with cancer.
He was born and raised in Lincolnton, N.C. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II, having served on a destroyer escort, the USS Lovelace. On his return from the Navy, he attended Darlington School in Rome, Ga., and Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C.
Ray and his wife, Leta, have lived in Lynchburg, since 1962. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December 2005, surrounded by friends and family.
Ray is also survived by his son, Steve Reinhardt of Lynchburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Meggins and Tom Tuchmann of Portland, Ore.; two granddaughters, Helen and Emmy Tuchmann of Portland, Ore.; an older brother, Robert S. Reinhardt of Virginia Beach; and four nieces, Yvonne Beaver of High Shoals, N.C., Le Neisler of Gastonia, N.C., Laura Houston of Alexandria, and Margaret Reinhardt of Richmond. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Reinhardt; and a sister, Yvonne Javert Shelton.
A private family service will be held in the columbarium followed by a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church at noon today.
Ray married Leta Unknown in Dec 1955.

Ann Pegram Edwards, 71, of 504 W. Chatham Street, died early Wednesday morning. She attended Woman's College in Greensboro and Peace College in Raleigh. She worked for Raleigh Federal Savings & Loan for 21 years, retiring as Branch Manager in Apex. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 25, at 11 a.m., in the Apex United Methodist Church. Rev. Bob Bergland and Rev. William Allen will officiate. The graveside committal will be private. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Winchester and Addie Bradshaw Pegram, and by a sister, Jean Pegram Fitchette. She is survived by her husband, Everette M. Edwards of the home; two daughters, Marcia E. Vanore and husband, Robert of Albermarle, and Evan E. Pecca and husband, Ralph of Roanoke, Va; three grandchildren, Marcee, Candice and Angela Vanore; a twin sister, Sarah Pegram Pearson of Cary; and a sister, Calvine Pegram Milam of Danville, Va. Mrs. Edwards also leaves numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Ann married Everette Edwards son of Everette Marcellius Edwards and Sally Mitchell Wells.
They had the following children:
