Lillian married Walter Robert Smith on 10 Nov 1918 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. Walter died on 1 Jul 1953 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee.

Walt built a lovely log home for his new bride on Deer Creek in Humphreys Co., TN. The home was built from the logs originally used in the home of his parents where he was born. An early picture of the home shows the logs were painted black with white chinking. the home later burned and his son Mac. built a new home on the same property.

She died on 4 Mar 1975 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. She was buried in Collier Cemetery, Humphreys Co., Tennessee.

Minnie married Harris Beauregard Collier son of Eli Aisten Collier and Elizabeth Jane Cowen on 11 Dec 1909 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. Harris was born on 20 Nov 1888 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. He died on 26 Dec 1982 in Humphreys Co., Tennessee. He was buried in Collier Cemetery, Humphreys Co., Tennessee.

Harris and Minnin lived in the home previously owned by his grandmother, Ann (Ridings) Cowan built before the Civil War. The house was still standing in 1988.

He was only 4 years old when his mother died and 12 years old when his father died. H e w ast hen raised by his half-sister, Emma, who had no children of her own.

He and his wife lived in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania and later in Greensburg, Westmorland Co., Pennsylvania. He died while visiting his children in Santa Clara Co., California.

Walter married Alice Elizabeth Portzer daughter of Frank Portzer and Sybilla Bush on 11 Nov 1934. Alice was born on 30 Oct 1915. She died on 26 Sep 2004 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Her obituary reads in part:

Alice E. (Portzer) Pegram, 88, formerly of Greensburg and Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1915, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Frank and Sybilla (Bush) Portzer. Prior to retirement, Alice was a licensed practical nurse, taking care of the elderly at the Home For The Aged and St. Anne's Home in Greensburg. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greensburg and a longtime friend of the Reunion Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Pegram Sr., in 1979; three sisters, Rose Portzer, Catherine Portzer and Margaret Portzer; and a brother, William Portzer. She is survived by four children, Peggy Pegram, of Naples, Fla., Mrs. Sybilla Samm and her husband, Ralph, of Naples, Fla., Mrs. Virginia Thompson and her husband, Floyd, of Copperopolis, Calif., and a son, Walter L. "Larry" Pegram Jr. and wife, Sue, of Mt. Pleasant; and a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Klinkhamer, of Annapolis, Md. Alice had four grandchildren, Jennifer Samm, of Naples, Fla.; Scott Pegram and his wife, Shelley, of Greensburg; Dawn Thompson, of Stockton, Calif.; and Heather Pegram, of Mt. Pleasant. She also had four great-grandchildren, who were the apples of her eyes, Darek Kelsey, and Jade, Tia and Taylor Pegram, all of Greensburg; and a very special friend, Marge Comiskey, of Mt. Pleasant.... Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Greensburg.

8747. Joseph Willard Pegram¹ (Andrew Jackson , William James , Nathan Petus , Daniel , Daniel , Daniel , Daniel , George ) was born^{2, 3} in Nov 1895 in Erin, Houston Co., Tennessee. He died⁴ in Jul 1969 in Tennessee.

In 1920, he was found serving in th Army in Florida. According to his daughter, Lois Ann Shipman, Joseph Willard's Army discharge papers had his named spelled incorrectly but he adopted this spelling and used it from then on.

Joseph married² Ann Lee Cobb¹ on 22 Dec 1923 in Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee. Ann was born³ on 27 Aug 1899. She died⁴ on 6 Jan 1981.
