Mr. Carlos Pegram Crim, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Crim was born in Forsyth County on June 28, 1924 to the late James Adren and Gertrude Pegram Crim. He was a member of Central Terrace United Methodist Church and retired from R.J.Reynolds Tobacco Company. Mr. Crim is survived by his loving wife Sylvia W. Crim of the home, a daughter Vickie C. Davis and husband Joe of Lewisville, two grandchildren, Christopher Davis of Lewisville and Courtney D. Anderson and husband Andy of Winston-Salem; and a brother Carlton J. Crim of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Forsyth Memorial Park with the Rev. Lauren Richardson and the Rev. Ken Eller officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 pm to 8pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Forsyth Medical Center Unit IMU2, and Palliative Care Unit for their loving care of Mr. Crim. "Kernersville - Nancy Imojean "Jean" Culler Pegram, 72, of 316A Cherry St. died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 27, 1931, in Forsyth County, a daughter of the late David E. and Mary Abagail Welborn Culler. She was a member of Welcome Door Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton O. Pegram. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Mayonne Pegram Cook and husband Carl; a sister, Libby Hanner of Kernersville; two brothers, David Lee Culler of Kernersville and Danny Culler of Winston-Salem; a beloved friend, brother-in-law and traveling companion, James Lee Pegram; his two sons, Jimmie Pegram and Sammy Pegram, adored as sons; and many nieces and nephews from Kernersville, Winston-Salem and Clemmons. A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 22, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Chapel by John G. Wolfe III. Inturnment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory... Jean is remembered by her family and many friends for her sweet nature, kind heart and precious memories."

Vera P. Aydelette, 72, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999. She was born in Greensboro, a daughter of the late James W. and Hortense Pegram. She moved to Florida in 1953, and was a member of First United Methodist Church Ft. Myers. Vera was the former secretary of the Royal Palm Womens Bowling League. Mrs. Aydelette is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard C.; her daughter, Pamela L. Rich; her son, Richard B. Aydelette, both of Ft. Myers; her sister, Viola Murray of Greensboro; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Burial in Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
