Larry married Jane Starnes daughter of Perry M. Starnes and Inez S. in 1970. Jane was born on 9 May 1946 in Catawba Co., North Carolina. She died on 19 Nov 2004.

JANE S. CRIM LEXINGTON - Mrs. Jane Starnes Crim, 58, of 426 Rolling Park Drive, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at her residence after a valiant battle with cancer, and she is now at home with her Lord Jesus Christ. Mrs. Crim was born May 9, 1946, in Catawba County to Dr. Perry M. Starnes and Inez S. Starnes. She was a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Mrs. Crim retired from the Davidson County School System. During her tenure with the school system, she taught at West Davidson High School. She was a member of the Davidson County Writers Guild. She had served her church, Reeds Baptist Church, in numerous capacities. Preceding her in death was her father. Surviving are her husband, Kent Crim of the home; two sons, Jonathan Crim and wife, Melissa, of High Point and Jake Crim and wife, Kelly, of Concord; a daughter, Buffie Cullens and husband, J.J., of Lexington; her mother, Inez S. Starnes of Hickory; a brother, Dr. Carl Starnes of Hickory; a sister, Anne Starnes of Hickory; and grandchildren, Hayden Cullens, Drake Cullens, Corinna Cullens and Chase Crim. The funeral will be conducted by the Revs. John Pace and John Gwaltney at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Reeds Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends today, Sunday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Piedmont Funeral Home, and will be at the residence at other times. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O. Box 1941, Lexington, N.C. 27293-1941.

Kernersville - Mr. Jonathan Paul Pegram, 35, of Tanyard Court, after battling a long-term illness, went on to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004. Jonathan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was born June 17, 1969, in Forsyth County, a son of Odell Thomas and Marsha Paul Pegram Jr. of Kernersville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Odell Thomas and Jacqueline Culler Pegram Sr. Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Mia Heath of Danbury; a son, Nicholas Geller of Kernersville; a grandmother, Bennie Chandler Collins of Kernersville; five aunts, Joan Ring, Barbara Ivester, Penny Poole, Kay Dehaan and Marsha Willard; and two uncles, Richard Collins and Steve Pegram. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Chapel in Kernersville by the Rev. James Whittington. Burial will follow in Mount Gur Cemetery.
