Surviving are three daughters, Teresa Wagoner and husband Kenneth, Terrilyn Stafford and Lisa Stafford, all of Kernersville; a son, Ricki Stafford also of Kernersville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances McGee and Fay Case, both of Stokesdale and Margaret Brown of Winston Salem; a brother, Walter Hilton Jr., of Stokesdale.

"Mr. Charles Harrison Lowdermilk died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Westminster Gardens Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Jimmy Dillon. Mr. Lowdermilk was of the Protestant faith and was a B-29 pilot and a flight instructor while serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II. He was an estimator and engineer for highway construction. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgeva Cook Lowdermilk.
His daughter, Cynthia Anne Lowdermilk of Greensboro; brothers, Walter Joseph Lowdermilk and wife Midji of Salisbury, Thomas Craven Lowdermilk and wife Merlene of Branford, Fla., and Theodore Houston Lowdermilk and wife Lolita of Lubbock, Texas, all survive him."

"Sanford - George C. Goode, 76, of 154 Fountainwood Drive, died Sunday (2/1/04) at Central Carolina Hospital. A native of Guilford County, he was a son of the late George Sr. and Annie Lee Morgan Goode. He was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Weis Goode. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Navy. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stokesdale United Methodist Church cemetery, Stokesdale, by the Rev. Allen Vanmetor.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda Denton of Sanford and Vickie Cotten of Spring Lake; his stepmother, Mary Tedder of Stokesdale; stepsisters, Thelma Bray and Imagene Reid, both of Greensboro; a half-brother, Paul Hilton of Greensboro; and a grandchild."
George married Millie Weis. Millie was born 1 on 20 Oct 1938 in Kansas. She died 2 on 13 Dec 1993 in Durham, Durham Co., North Carolina.
