Kernersville — Ruby Pegram Latham, 70, passed peacefully at her home on Dec. 20, 2002. The funeral will be held 2 p.m., Dec. 22, at Belews Creek Baptist Church, by Rev. Mike Neal and Brother Royden Combs. She was born January 12, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Odell and Annie Perdew Pegram of Belews Creek. She retired from AT&T with 36 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Mick Pegram. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Latham Binkley and her husband Bob of Advance; her brothers, Richard, Odell, Daniel and Don; her sisters, Dorothy Freeman, Zora Hemrick, Gracie Combs, Geneva Tucker and Pat Rhymes; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

"Mrs. Annie Louise "Pat" Pegram Rhymes, 60, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Rhymes was born in Stokes County, a daughter of the late Clinton Odell and Annie Wren Perdew Pegram, and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was a retiree of K&W Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wade Rhymes; a brother, Floyd Mick Pegram; and a sister, Ruby P. Latham. Surviving are a son and his wife, Brad and Beverly Dawn Rhymes of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Dorothy P. Freeman and Zora P. Hemrick, both of Kernersville, Gracie P. Combs of Rural Hall, and Geneva P. Tucker of Winston-Salem; four brothers, Richard B. Pegram and C. Odell Pegram Jr., both of Winston-Salem, and Daniel Ray Pegram of Belews Creek and Donald Wayne Pegram of Welcome; and a granddaughter, Regan Marie Rhymes. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory."
Annie married William Wade Rhymes son of William Wade Rhymes and Cora Barber. William was born on 11 Jun 1921 in Harrison Co., Mississippi. He died on 20 Jun 2001.

Mr. William Wade Rhymes Jr., 80, of 3525 Piedmont Memorial Drive died Thursday, June 20, 2001, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Salisbury.
He was born June 11, 1921, in Harrison County, Miss., a son of William Wade Rhymes Sr. and Cora Barber Rhymes.
He was a member of Toastmasters Inter-national and was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Rhymes was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis and Ray, and a sister, Helen. Surviving are his wife, Annie Pegram Rhymes of the home; a son, Brad Rhymes of Winston-Salem, Forsyth County; two daughters, Mary Colgin of Richmond, Va., and Cathy Sinback of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three brothers, Paul Rhymes of Oregon House, Calif., Hubert Rhymes of Gold Canyon, Ariz. and Joe Rhymes of College Station, Texas.; and four grandchildren.
