David lived most of his life in Joliet, IL with his parents. After college he worked part-time at Grace Baptist Church in Shorewood, IL. After he married Deborah Heitman on 16 May 1981, he was called to full time ministry as Assistant Pastor at the Meadow Lane Baptist Church in Hammond, IN and then as Youth Pastor at the Judson Memorial Baptist Church. On Saturday, 24 Jun 1989, he was swimming with a youth group at the Lake Holiday resort area near Sandwich, IL. He was discovered missing and later his body was retrieved from the lake. CPR was performed and he was rushed to the Sandwich Hospital, where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room. No medical reason was ever found for his drowning.
David married Deborah Heitman on 16 May 1981 in Shorewood, Il. Deborah was born on 21 Nov 1961 in Joliet, Il. Deborah joined religion in Baptist.
