"Edith Hope Pegram, 97, of Elm Springs died Sunday, June 4, 2006. She was born March 9, 1909, in Breckenridge, Texas, to William Robert and Mary Francis Harris Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Arlin Pegram, and two sons, William Howard Pegram and Carl Melton Pegram.

Survivors include three sons, George Pegram, Wendell Pegram and Milford Pegram, all of Springdale; three daughters, Lula Barnett of Duncan, Okla., Renelda Forga of Tontitown and Marvie Newkirk of Elm Springs; 17 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreat-grandchildren..."
