Paul Adrian Walton, 69, of Campbells Creek died Feb. 20, 1997, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness.
He was a native of Malden, a lifelong resident of Kanawha County, a retired engineer from Amherst Industries, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of United Steelworkers Local 14614.
Surviving: wife, Loretta Pegram Walton sons, Timothy and Joel Walton, both of Campbells Creek daughters, Martha Mitchell of Martinsburg, Elizabeth Walton of Valley Head six grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, with the Rev. Dana Clay officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.

Dottie married Douglas Daniel , Jr. Davis. Douglas was born on 24 Sep 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He died on 26 Jun 1997 in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio.
Doug graduated from North Hills High School in 1976. After high school he joined the Army Reserves. Two years later he decide to go active duty. He spent 18 years in the Army. Sgt. First Class Davis spent 18 years working as a demolitions expert, in the EOD unit (Explosive Ordinance Disposal), the bomb squad, dismantling and safely exploding bombs. Much of his career he spent on the road traveling around the US and the World. Sgt. Davis spent years in numerous cities checking the travel route of presidents, vice president and other important dignitaries. In 1985, when President Ronald Reagan traveled to Japan, Doug went along. He also traveled with different presidents and vice-presidents during election years. He got to know ex-presidents Nixon and Bush personally from serving repeatly during their visits. He spent some time working at the White House in 1994. While in the Army he went through numerous schools, always being one of the top 3. He spent a year over seas in Korea. While he was there he taught an English class to the Korean people. His hobbies included reading and having a good time. He is buried in Allegheny Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, PA, with full military honors.
