Mr. Michael Allen Pegram, 68, of 115 Ashton Place Circle died at his home on Friday, Feb. 3, 2006. He was born May 2, 1937, in Hamlet to the late William Allen and Mildred Sharp Pegram. He attended N.C. State University and graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College. He worked for Burlington Industries and later retired from Springs Mills Inc. as a chief corporate engineer. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coin collecting and playing the stock market. He also took great joy in visiting with his grandchildren and loved to go to their games and watch them play whenever he could. He lived in Tega Cay, S.C., for the majority of his life, and later moved to Winston-Salem in 2000. He is survived by his three children, Alison Pegram Katon (Todd) of Clemmons, William Allen Pegram (Leah) of Boonville and David Michael Pegram of Lewisville; seven grandchildren, William Allen Pegram IV, Taylor Anderson Pegram, John Michael Katon, Worthy Alexandra Pegram, Haley Elizabeth Katon, Bryson Wade Pegram and David Michael Pegram II; and his sisters, Linda E. Pegram of Contuit, Mass., and Robin W.
