"Mrs. Mary C. Pegram, 66, of Wintergarden Lane, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at her residence. Born June 25, 1937, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of Richard Call and the late EthelMae Evans Call. She was a 1955 graduate of Greensboro Senior High School and she attended Business College. She was the manager of the first Burger King in Greensboro. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Dean Call. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Lynne Bullard of Charleston, S.C., Terri Danielle Pegram of Greensboro; son Carl Albert "Buddy" Pegram III; two granddaughters, Gabby and Jordan; five grandsons, Beau Tyler, Justin, Gavin and Wyatt and a 6th Christopher, due May 4; two great-grandsons, Jason and Brandon; sister Teresa Brown; and two brothers, Richard Call Jr., and Mike Call..."

Mrs. Rachel Whitesell Strader, 47, of Shelton Road died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at Midway Cemetery.
A native of Greensboro, she was also a longtime resident of Reidsville and was retired from Cones Mills and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leisa Rosales of Greensboro; a sister, Mrs. Rita McQueen of Greensboro; brothers, Richard Whitesell, Leroy Whitesell, Roger Whitesell, Ronnie Whitesell, Ralph Whitesell, and Ray Lynn Whitesell, all of Greensboro.

Reidsville - Mr. Ray Lynn Whitesell, 43, of Reidsville, died Sunday, August 13, 2006, at Anne Penn Hospital.
Mr. Whitesell was born in Guilford Co., August 26, 1962, to the late Roy Whitesell and Ruby Pegram Whitesell. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Whitesell and three sisters, Rachel Marie Strader, Rita Faye McQueen, and Rosemary Whitesell.
Mr. Whitesell attended Fairview Baptist Church in Reidsville. He was actively involved up until the time of his illness in the Boys Scouts for 11 years. Ray was an assistant Scout Master at the time of his death. He was employed by NC DOT in Reidsville. He was an outdoorsman where he enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. Ray was a loving husband, father, and brother. He will be dearly missed by many.
Mr. Whitesell is survived by his wife, Susan Whitesell, of the home; son, Casey Whitesell of the home; brothers, Richard Morris Whitesell and wife, Louise, Leroy Edward Whitesell and wife Clara, Roger Wayne Whitesell, Ronnie Dee Whitesell, and Ralph Eugene Whitesell and of Greensboro; numerous nieces and nephews; and many many close and special friends.
They had the following children:
