Shirley married Edwin Eugene Pearson 1 son of Rom G. Pearson and Mary Hyder. Edwin was born 2 about 1919 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He died on 8 May 2002 in Guilford Co., North Carolina.
His obituary reads in part:
Elon — Edwin Eugene Pearson, 83 of 964 Gibsonville-Ossipee Road, died Wednesday May 8, 2002 , at Moses Cone Hospital after a short illness. The funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at The Church of God by Rev. Clarence Clough. Burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. He was born in Johnson City, Tenn., to the late Rom G. and Mary Hyder Pearson and was the husband of Shirley Pegram Pearson of the home. He was a sheet metal welder, furniture builder and a rock mason. He attended the Church of God in Gibsonville and was an Army veteran of WW II. Daily prayer "Lord, let me be sweet, gentle and kind today. Lord, put someone in my path so I can tell them about Jesus." Survivors include his wife, daughter, Joan Wall and her husband Alan of Randleman; a granddaughter, Miss Holly Wall and step grandson, Michael Wall.

Mrs. Margaret Faye Pegram Holbrook, 60, of 7715-A Alcorn Road, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at Wesley Long Hospital. Mrs. Holbrook was a member of Northwest Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Pegram. She is survived by her husband of nine years, Jerry Bryan Holbrook Sr. of the home; one daughter, Vanessa Idol and husband, Billy of Colfax; one son, Marcus Gray and wife, Leatha of Colfax; mother, Cora Tucker Pegram of Greensboro; two sisters, Shirley Pearson of Elon and Peggy Twiddy of Greensboro; three brothers, John Pegram and Wayne Pegram, both of Greensboro and Mickey Pegram of Greensburg, Ky.; two grandchildren, Molly Faye Idol and Tyler Idol; three step-children, Anita Winfrey of Walkertown, Jerry Bryan Holbrook Jr. of Kernersville and Larry Holbrook of Leaman; and six step-grandchildren, Elise and Christopher Miller, Nicky and Ryan Winfrey and Jason and Jessica Holbrook.

His obituary reads in part as follows: James William "Bill" Pegram Sr., retired Air Force staff sergeant, 72, of Annapolis for 19 years, died on Monday, March 1, 2004, at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda. The funeral service was held on March 8, 2004, at Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater. Burial was held in Arlington National Cemetery on March 9, 2004. He was born on Aug. 8, 1931, in Greensboro, N.C., and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1949. He received a degree in education from Bowie State University. He retired in 1970 from the U.S. Air Force after a 21-year career. He was an elementary school teacher in Anne Arundel County. Later, he worked as a personnel security investigator for the Department of Defense before retiring again in December 1994. He was a former member of the Kiwanis clubs of Annapolis and Shady Side, where he was past president. In 1963, he was married to Gisela L. Kobin Pegram. Surviving are one son, James W. Pegram Jr. of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Elizabeth Killion of Siloan Springs, Ark., and LaDonna Gibson of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Kernersville — Mr. Clint Allen Watson, 90, of 4224 Bridgehead Road, died Monday, March 25, 2002, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2002, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Howard Fleming. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Watson was born May 8, 1911, in Forsyth County, a son of the late John Henry and Josephine Pegram Watson. He was an avid fisherman and bird hunter. He was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church for 78 years and had served on numerous church committees. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Virginia Lowery Watson of the home; three sons, Ronnie Allen (Debbie) Watson, Johnny Watson, and Lane (Sandra) Watson, all of Kernersville; a brother, Robah Watson of Kernersville; a sister, Stella Kiger of Kernersville; seven grandchildren, Allen Watson, Tammy LaRue, Kristi Doganavsargil, Jonette Watson, Chad Watson, Amanda Watson and Sara Watson; and nine great-grandchildren.
Clint married Ruby Virginia Lowery.

Kernersville - Mrs. Stella Mae Watson Kiger, 90, formerly of County Line Road, died April 25, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born Sept. 19, 1912, in Forsyth County, a daughter of John and Josephine Pegram Watson. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a former member of the Sugar Sticks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurston Kiger. Surviving are four daughters, Betty (Richard) Vogler of Clemmons, Barbara Gauldin of Stokesdale, Billie ( Marion) Stack of Oak Ridge and Patricia (Dave) Wails of Greensboro; a son, Lee (Jo Ann) Kiger of Kernersville; a brother, Robah Watson of Kernersville; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, April 27, at Union Grove Baptist Church by Dr. Brooks Hunt and the Rev. Neal Eller. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
Stella married Laurston Kiger son of Kiger and Salley. Laurston was born 1, 2 on 26 Feb 1914 in Forsyth Co., North Carolina. He died 3, 4 on 27 Feb 1984 in Forsyth Co., North Carolina.
