Ocala, Fla. - Mr. Yancey S. Fulp Jr., 78, formerly of Winston-Salem, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, in Ocala. He was born June 9, 1924, in Forsyth County to the late Yancey S. Fulp Sr. and Elsie Pegram Fulp. Mr. Fulp was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was the owner and operator of Fulp Plumbing Co. of Winston-Salem and retired to Carolina Beach. Mr. Fulp loved his family and was a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia S. Fulp. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon F. Berrier and husband Don and Linda F. Foster and husband John, all of Ocala, Fla.; five grandchildren, John Foster Jr. and wife Donna, Donnie Berrier and wife Jennifer, Stephen Foster, Sherri Pegg and husband Steven and Shannon Lynn Foster; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Savannah, Brittany, Ally and Taylor; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Joseph and Santos.
