Henderson - Marjorie Vincent (Miss P) Pegram, 78, of 12720 Hwy 39 N., Henderson, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Born in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Glen and Sue Bett Vincent. Mrs. Pegram was co-owner of Pegram's Dairy Bar in Townsville. She was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 23, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Rock Spring Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Gary Brummitt and the Rev. Kenneth Shearin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Harley Pegram; a daughter, Glenda P. Riggan and husband, Charles, of Oxford; a son, Ralph H. (Skeet) Pegram Jr. and wife, Sylvia, of Bailey; two sisters, Beth V. Dubberly, of Price George, Va., and Virginia V. Lancaster, of Roanoke Rapids; three grandchildren, Christopher Pegram, Marian Pegram and Spencer G. Riggan; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris A. Vincent.
